The Forbidden Cloud
The Forbidden Cloud
It unfogged my vision and freed my soul.
I flew with the winds,
Sang with the birds,
And grew with the trees.
It drifted away
I found it again but it was never the same.
I flew with the winds, but never as high.
I sang with the birds, but never as loud.
I grew with the trees, but never as tall
I was searching for a freedom that could never be found.
The sun could not shine,
The darkness would bind
Deep in that darkness I saw a light,
I reached for the light and felt reality.
I followed the light and was freed of the cloud
Reality was finally found.
